MyCase.ai.in — Indian case law for your AI assistant
Know where you stand, before you walk into court.
Tell MyCase your legal problem the way you'd tell a friend, with no legal jargon needed. It searches judgments of the Supreme Court of India and the High Courts for the cases that match your situation, then does the reading for you: how similar cases were decided and why, what each side argued, and the strengths and weaknesses they reveal for your position.
Grounded, not guessed. Every point is tied to a real judgment and cited by its case number (CNR), so you can check it yourself on the public eCourts record. No invented cases, and no made-up win percentages.
Built for everyone who needs the law:
- Members of the public: understand your situation in plain English before you meet a lawyer.
- Advocates: find and brief precedent for a matter in hand, and check whether an authority is still relied on.
- Students and researchers: see how courts have actually ruled across courts and decades.
MyCase is research, not legal advice: it helps you ask better questions and make better-informed decisions, alongside a qualified advocate.
Connector URL: https://mcp.mycase.ai.in/mcp
Transport: MCP Streamable HTTP
Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You sign in with your MyCase account; you never paste a key or token.
Coverage (counted 24 September 2026): about 915,000 searchable case records: the Supreme Court of India (38,294, from 1950) and 24 of the 25 High Courts (876,839, from 2000). A case record is one case number (CNR); some High Court orders decide several connected cases at once, so the number of distinct judgments is lower. The searchable collection is still growing. It is a subset of the wider public record, not every judgment ever delivered.
What it does
The connector gives your AI assistant 10 read-only tools for Indian case law:
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search Indian case law | Find judgments that match the facts, keywords or topics of your question. |
| Search cases with metadata filters | The same search, narrowed by court, year or year range, subject area or outcome. |
| Browse cases by category | List cases by subject area, category, court or year, without a query. |
| Get a full case record | One case's details by its case number. |
| Search & fetch cases in one call | Search, and return the top matches as full case records. |
| Generate an instant case brief | A source-labelled brief for one case: facts, issue, holding, principles, chronology and counsel. |
| Assess case strength | A cited, qualitative read of how similar cases were decided: strong and weak points, and what each side argued. Never a win percentage. |
| Check if a case is still good law | How many later judgments relied on or distinguished a case, and the precedents it relied on, cited by case number. |
| Search legal corpus (simple) | A simple search, compatible with assistants' research modes. |
| Fetch a legal document by id | Fetch a result from the simple search. |
Every tool only reads. Nothing is written, changed or deleted.
How answers stay grounded
- Every case-specific statement points to a real judgment by its case number (CNR), which you can check against the public eCourts portals.
- General legal knowledge is labelled as such ("verify against the bare Act") and is never presented as coming from a judgment.
- Gaps are stated plainly, for example "no retrieved case from your state", instead of being papered over.
- Win probabilities and percentages are never given. The connector describes how similar cases were actually decided, and no more.
Who it's for
- Practising advocates: find and brief precedent for a matter in hand.
- Law students and academics: study doctrine and outcome patterns across courts and years.
- In-house counsel and paralegals: filter outcomes by court, subject and year.
- Members of the public: understand how courts have treated situations like theirs, in plain English. The connector says clearly that this is research, not legal advice.

- "Find tenancy cases in the Rajasthan High Court from 2018 to 2022 where the petition was allowed, and summarise the pattern."
- "Give me a brief of the Supreme Court's Ayodhya title judgment, then check whether it is still relied on."
Each drives several tool calls and returns answers with case citations.
Important: not legal advice
Every answer is research output, not legal advice. The connector retrieves and summarises public Indian court judgments. Nothing it returns replaces advice from a qualified advocate registered with the relevant Bar Council. Verify any statement against the bare Act, the underlying judgment and current law before acting on it.
