Terms of Service
Effective / last updated: 8 October 2026
These Terms apply to the MyCase.ai.in private beta. We may update them as the service develops.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Sovereign Legal Intelligence Private Limited (under incorporation in India; trading as "Sovereign Legal Intelligence" / "SLI India"), the operator of MyCase.ai.in ("MyCase", "we", "us"). They cover the MyCase.ai.in website and the MyCase connector (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. What the Service is
The Service helps you search, read and understand publicly available Indian High Court and Supreme Court judgments. It is currently an invite-only beta.
3. Not legal advice
The Service gives research output, not legal advice. It does not replace advice from an advocate, and using it does not create an advocate-client relationship. Results may be incomplete or wrong. Check every result against the law and the judgment itself, and consult an advocate before acting. We do not guarantee any legal outcome. Sovereign Legal Intelligence is a technology company, not a law firm. It does not practise law or provide legal services.
4. Your account
You must be 18 or over and able to enter a binding contract. Give us accurate details, keep your sign-in private, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. We may approve, decline or remove access during the beta.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- resell or redistribute the Service or its results as a competing product;
- copy data from the Service in bulk or by automated means, or exceed usage limits;
- get around sign-in or security controls, or use someone else's account;
- use the Service unlawfully, or present its results to others as legal advice.
We may suspend or end access if these Terms are broken or to protect the Service and its users.
6. Intellectual property
Court judgments are public records and we do not own them. We (or our licensors) own the Service itself — its software, design and the way results are organised and presented. You may use the Service and its results for your own legal research, under these Terms.
7. Other services
You may use the Service through AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT, and it relies on other providers to run. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Fees
The Service is free during the beta. We will show you any price and get your agreement before charging anything. Usage limits may apply and may change.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. As a beta, features may change or stop, and results may be incomplete or wrong.
10. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss from relying on the Service's results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to INR 1,000, or the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim if that is more. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that the law does not allow to be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
11. Ending use
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if these Terms are broken. Sections 3, 6, 9, 10 and 12 continue to apply after that.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in India have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you cannot give up.
13. Changes
We will post any update here with a new date and tell you about important changes. Using the Service after a change means you accept it.
